We work hard to create high-quality made-to-order and custom products. Because of the personalized nature of our items, our return and refund guidelines are different from standard retail policies.
Made-to-Order & Customized Items
Most of our products are made specifically for you (including personalized badges, ID cards, wallet cards, and custom designs).
Customized and made-to-order items are final sale and not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
This is the industry standard for personalized goods because these items cannot be resold or reused.
However, we will remake or replace your item at no cost if any of the following apply:
The item arrives damaged
We made an error in production (incorrect print, material, or details that do not match the order)
A defect in the product or print quality is present
To request a replacement, please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos showing the issue.
Issues reported after this window may not be eligible for review.
Customer Input & Proof Approval
If the customer provides artwork, design instructions, or approves a proof:
We are not responsible for errors or typos provided by the customer.
We do not offer returns or free remakes for:
Incorrect information submitted by the customer
Low-resolution images uploaded
Design choices approved during proofing
Simply “changing your mind” or not liking the final result
In these cases, we may offer a discounted reprint as a courtesy.
Non-Customized Items
For any product that is not customized, you may return the item within 30 calendar days of delivery.
To start a return, please contact us first.
Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
Refunds
Refunds are not available for made-to-order or personalized products unless we cannot remake or replace the item.
For eligible refundable items (non-custom or defective items we cannot replace):
We will notify you once the returned item is received and inspected.
If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
Shipping Costs
Return shipping for non-custom items is the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If we issue a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted.
For defective or incorrect custom items, BadgeZoo covers the cost of replacement shipping.
